The company was created by 2 artistic friends who saw the opportunity
to complement modern accessories with the new contemporary interiors
appearing all over the Miami scene and since then, every major
city in the country.

order?
The best way to order is by clicking on the
item you would like to purchase and adding it to your shopping
cart. When you have selected all items that you wish to buy,
simply click the Checkout button that appears on the top right
hand corner of the page. This will transfer you to our secure
ordering process. To make a purchase online, you will need to
use a credit card. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express
and Discover.
You may also place an order by emailing us at sales@modernata.com. Please
include your name, mailing address, phone number and the item numbers & quantity
that you wish to purchase. Please do not provide your credit card
information at that time. Our Customer Service Representative will

Will I be charged sales
tax on my order?
Only orders shipped within the state of Florida
will be taxed an extra 6% to the total order. This tax is automatically
added to your order form during the checkout process. If your
items are being shipped anywhere other than the state of Florida,
no tax will be charged. back

What confirmations do
I get once I submit my order?
Once you submit an order, you will receive
an instant e-mail thanking you for your order with a confirmation
number attached to your order. After this e-mail you will also
receive an e-mail notifying you that your order was shipped. back

How long does
it take to receive my order?
As soon as your credit card information is
verified and charged at the time of purchase, we will process
your order for shipment. Incomplete billing information could
delay your order. Most pillows are shipped within 1 to 3 weeks,
depending on whether your order is custom made or not and bedding
is shipped within 2-3 weeks. Most paintings are shipped within
1 week. Please feel free to e-mail us for specific shipping

What kind of shipping do
you offer to various locations?
Modernata is pleased
to offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders of $100 or
more in value. All orders that qualify for free shipping will
incur a $2.00 handling fee that will be added onto your order's
total. Deliveries to the 48 contiguous states will be made via
FedEx Ground or by common carrier depending on the overall weight
of your order. The shipping costs are calculated for you during
the purchase. Please note we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes. Free
Shipping is not applicable to any Rush Shipping request. Please
contact us to check on the availability and rates for rush shipping
(Next Day or 2nd Day). For shipping outside the 48 contiguous

Are your shipments insured against
damage?
Yes. Every shipment is insured against damage.
Please carefully inspect your merchandise upon receipt and notify
us immediately if you notice any damage. To guarantee a quick
turnaround on your claim, please keep the original package and
print the words, "Damaged at Arrival" next to where
you signed for the merchandise. back

What stuffing material
do you use in your pillows?
All of our pillows are stuffed with the finest
poly-fill materials. We have chosen this material as it keeps
its form better and offers more support. If you would prefer
a down/feather filling, please contact us. In most cases we can
substitute it for a small fee. back

How do I take care of
my pillow?
All pillows have a discrete zipper that will
allow you to remove the covering have it dry cleaned. This method
of cleaning is the safest as it will prevent the pillow cover
from losing its luster or its shape. The pillows do not come
with scotch guard protection. We do not suggest utilizing scotch
guard without first determining if it will react with the material. back

How do I take care of my Duvet Cover?
All DECO Pillows duvet covers are easily
removable for dry cleaning. We do not reccomment machine washing
as it could change the shape of the cover or decrease the quality
of the colors.
If you need to iron the cover, please set
the heat to a lower setting than the cotton setting to ensure
the material is not adversely affected. back

How do I handle my painted canvas?
The paintings will arrive rolled up in a
shipped tube. This method will protect the art during its transit
between destinations. The paintings are not framed which provide
you with a variety of options for displaying your final work
of art. Most canvases look best put on a stretch. This method
is simple, cost effective and will provide for the latest modern
look. Please contact us should you have additional questions
on the handling of your canvas. back

What if I am not completely satisfied with
my purchase?
We want you to be happy! For most items,
if you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, modernata will
be happy to process a return for you. Please contact more@modernata.com
to obtain return instructions. Items must be in their
original condition, and in their original packaging complete
with all tags, instructions, and insert, in order to be accepted.
The return must be post-marked within 7 days of receiving the item. If the
return is not due to damaged merchandise, you will be responsible for the
shipping costs. For items that are eligible for cancellations or refunds:
credit card orders will receive refunds in the form of a credit, and check
payments will receive a refund check.
All returns require a Merchandise Return Authorization (MRA) number. Please
contact us before making your return to obtain a Merchandise Return Authorization
number. This number ensures accurate tracking and handling of returned items.
MRA numbers are valid for 15 days only. Modernata reserves the right to refuse
any shipment that does not have a valid MRA number. Refused shipments will
be returned to the shipper on freight collect basis. When checking on the
status of your return, please reference your MRA number.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns/exchanges on any items that were "Made
to Order" on Sale and Clearance.
In the event of an exchange, the cost of shipping the replacement item to
the customer will be the actual shipping cost. back

What if I want to cancel my
order?
All order cancellations must be made within
24 hours of the time the order was placed. Please note that we
often process and ship orders on the same day in which they are
received. If your order has been processed prior to receiving
your cancellation, then the above rules for Returns & Exchanges
will apply. For items that are “Made to Order”, once the order
has been processed, we cannot accept a cancellation. back
